Micro Four Thirds

Micro Four Thirds (MFT) is a lens mount system introduced by Olympus and Panasonic in 2008 for their mirrorless cameras. It features a smaller sensor size compared to traditional DSLRs, approximately half the size of a full-frame sensor. The MFT system is the first mirrorless system, offering a compact and lightweight alternative to DSLRs. Despite the smaller sensor size, MFT cameras provide excellent image quality and versatility, with a wide range of lenses available from various manufacturers. The MFT system has been embraced by photographers looking for a portable and flexible camera system without compromising on image quality.
